Sartoria Ciardi

Sartoria Ciardi is one of the most distinguished names in traditional Neapolitan tailoring, representing a sartorial tradition renowned far beyond Italy for its exceptional craftsmanship, elegance and unmistakable lightness of construction.

The house was founded in Naples by Renato Ciardi, whose career as a tailor began at a very young age. After gaining experience in Rome, he returned to Naples and established his own atelier in 1955. Over the decades, Sartoria Ciardi became renowned for creating exceptional bespoke suits and jackets for a highly distinguished international clientele, including prominent families and personalities from around the world.

Its garments embody the essential qualities of true Neapolitan tailoring: extensive handwork, meticulous cutting, soft and natural construction, exceptional fabrics and an extraordinary attention to proportion and detail. Each piece is conceived individually and made according to the traditions of an increasingly rare form of craftsmanship.

Following Renato Ciardi’s passing, his sons Vincenzo and Roberto Ciardi continue the family tradition, preserving the techniques, knowledge and distinctive aesthetic developed by their father while carrying one of Naples’ great sartorial legacies into the present.
